Welcome to Almost Paradise, a serene tropical escape featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the idyllic Flamingo Island. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, our location offers a peaceful retreat, yet it's conveniently just a few minutes from essential amenities. You'll find everything from charter boats and marinas to grocery stores, tackle shops, and popular attractions like the Turtle Hospital and the pristine Sombrero Beach with its powdery white sands and graceful coconut palms.

The house itself is a sanctuary of comfort and style, graced with French doors that lead to a charming screened porch and a delightful wraparound walkway. Inside, you'll discover a cozy haven, complete with a king-size bed, two queen-size beds, a washer and dryer, a TV with Wi-Fi access, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor barbecue grill. 

For water enthusiasts, we offer a 28' dock situated on a deep-water canal that connects to Sisters Creek. The East Sisters entrance provides easy access to the open ocean, perfect for offshore fishing trips targeting sailfish and marlin, or underwater exploration at Sombrero Lighthouse. Alternatively, the West Sisters entrance invites you to slip under the iconic Seven Mile Bridge into the tranquil Gulf of Mexico, where backcountry fly fishing for tarpon, bonefish, and permit awaits. Surrounded by endless horizons of sea and sky, you can choose from a variety of activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, wading, or simply taking in the breathtaking surroundings. The tranquil waters are often shared with playful dolphins, soaring eagles, ospreys, amusing pelicans, and majestic wading birds. Max boat length will be 25ft. 

Come and explore the Florida Keys, an archipelago of over a thousand tropical islands. Here, you can swim, dive, fish, shop, golf, dine, kayak, birdwatch, read, or simply bask in the sun to your heart's content. And who knows, you might even find love in this paradise.

Please note that if you plan on bringing or renting a boat, jet skis or other water crafts, we can only guarantee that one will fit at the dock. Please make sure to confirm the dock size, space for trailer parking and if more than one vessel is allowed. This property allows ONE boat & ONE trailer only. 

This property is “dog friendly” so you are required to select the pet fee option when booking if you are bringing a dog. All dogs must be approved prior to booking - dogs under 50lbs only. There are breed restrictions due to insurance reasons. Pet fee is non refundable & taxable. If you are booking on Airbnb ~ the pet fee will be asked for after booking as it will not be included in total cost. The fee is based on the breed & size. Dog friendly only - NO cats or other animals. Max allowed is 2. Failure to disclose the dog and pay the pet fee will result in a charge up to $500 and asked to vacate without a refund. No cats or other animals allowed at this property.
